| RCPS Maine was originally founded as Pine Tree Paranormal in 2008. In July of 2010 we accepted the offer to become the Maine chapter of River Cities Paranormal Society. We are located in Southern Maine and will travel throughout Maine and New England to investigate and document evidence of the paranormal. It is the hope of RCPS Maine that our research will create a better understanding of paranormal phenomena. Our team relies solely on scientific methods and equipment during investigations, and we approach each case objectively. We do not try to prove a location is haunted, but instead try to find logical explanations for what is occurring.
As a group we do not use mediums or psychics, although we are open to the idea that some people may posses these gifts. We only believe in documentable evidence of the paranormal. We do not use ouija boards or conduct seances. We do not perform exorcisms or cleanse people or properties. RCPS Maine is interested in working with any groups that share our ideals. Please contact us if you are interested in working together to further advance the field of paranormal research. RCPS Maine is also interested in working with historical organizations throughout Maine and New England. |

If you feel you are experiencing paranormal activity we are here to help. We will investigate your home, business or other property. Our investigations are conducted with the utmost respect for our clients. They are handled privately and discreetly. Every client will be given a copy of any evidence obtained. No evidence will be shared without consent. Please fill out our Investigation Request Form and we will contact you as soon as possible. If we are unable to help, we will find someone who can.
Some paranormal groups claim to be "certified". There is no such thing as a certified paranormal investigator and there are no accredited programs that offer this certification.
